PIRKEY PLANT DEMOLITION AND REMEDIATION PROJECT

Pirkey consisted of one coal fired generating unit with a total capacity of 750 MW. This description of work identifies the sections of Pirkey to be demolished: the boiler and turbine building, Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) area and associated equipment, coal handling and storage equipment, Intake and Outfall Structures, outbuildings, tanks, and other structures within the demolition boundary.
